What exactly is the fee?
10% of the sale price, taken at checkout via Stripe Connect. That's it - no listing fees, no monthly plan, nothing on free creations. Snailsy only earns when you do.
When do I get paid?
Stripe transfers your share to your connected account on the payment, then pays out to your bank on Stripe's standard schedule (typically a few business days after your first sale, then rolling).
Can I sell for free and switch later?
Yes. Free gets build followers and upvotes fast. Flip to paid anytime - everyone who already got it keeps it.
Refunds?
You can refund any purchase from your Stripe dashboard; the buyer's access is revoked when the refund lands. Be generous - it shows up in your comments. You bear refunds and chargebacks on your sales; see the Maker Terms.
Taxes and the fine print?
You're the seller of record: you set the price, you're responsible for any taxes on your sales, and you must have the rights to everything you sell (including under the terms of the AI tools you used). Stripe may collect tax information from you and report earnings where the law requires. The Maker Terms spell it all out.
